Pixel events for web-to-app
Users who clicked a Snapchat ad through your Linkrunner campaign link in a web-to-app journey are sent to your Pixel.
Measure installs from Snapchat clicks through Linkrunner links and send mapped events through the Conversions API. Test app and store destinations before launch.
Users who clicked a Snapchat ad through your Linkrunner campaign link in a web-to-app journey are sent to your Pixel.
Installs, sign-ups and mapped events from other users go to the Snap App ID for their platform, so Snapchat can match them in its own reporting.
Install and sign up always go as APP_INSTALL and SIGN_UP. Map any other event on the Event Mapping tab.
Users who install from a Snapchat ad land on the right screen after first open through deferred deep links, on Android and iOS.
In Linkrunner Integrations, open Snapchat Ads and click Add Snapchat Account.
In Snapchat Ads Manager, create a Pixel with manual setup and the Conversion API, then copy the Pixel ID and access token.
Copy the App ID from Apps in Ads Manager. It is not your App Store ID or package name.
Paste the IDs and token under Configure Pixel, send a test event and check Last Event Received.
Add a different Linkrunner campaign link as each ad's Website URL, as for TikTok Ads.
Linkrunner attributes an install to Snapchat only when the user came through your Linkrunner campaign link.
Snapchat also credits users who only viewed an ad, so its install count can be higher. Compare against an attribution window without view-through.
iOS app events need your App Store URL in project settings. Without an App Store ID, Linkrunner doesn't send iOS app events.
One access token covers your Pixel and your Snap App IDs.
Configure the Snapchat integration, use tracked campaign links and check the conversion events at the destination.
