Linkrunner for AI agents

Set up mobile attribution from Claude

Add Linkrunner to Claude and ask about attribution. Sign up and create your project in the chat, then get your SDK token. You do not need to open the dashboard.

From zero to a project

Four steps, all inside one chat

  1. Add Linkrunner to Claude

Add the connector once. You can ask what Linkrunner is and how setup works straight away, with no account.

  2. Sign up in the chat

When you ask for something that needs an account, Claude shows a Connect button. Sign up or sign in with Google or an email link in the popup.

  3. Create your project

Claude finds your app on the App Store or Google Play, you confirm it is the right one, and Claude creates the project.

  4. Get your SDK token

The project comes back with its SDK token, and Claude can fetch it again whenever you ask. Then install the SDK from the platform guide.

How to connect

Add the Linkrunner connector

Linkrunner runs a remote MCP server. Claude signs you in with OAuth, so there is no token to copy.

Claude on web, desktop, and mobile

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Enter this URL.
https://mcp.linkrunner.io/mcp
  1. Set Authentication to Sign in when needed, and OAuth client to Use Claude's published identity.

The Claude Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, then Connectors, then Add, then Custom. Members then click Connect.

Claude Code

Run this command, then run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in. You can also just ask for something that needs an account.

claude mcp add --transport http linkrunner https://mcp.linkrunner.io/mcp

Other MCP clients

Any client that supports OAuth can connect by adding the same URL. The server supports Client ID Metadata Documents and Dynamic Client Registration. ChatGPT and token-based setups are covered in the MCP docs.

What you can ask

Ask in plain words

Once a project exists, Claude can read stats, campaigns, and funnels, and check domains, postbacks, webhooks, and links.

  • What is Linkrunner, and what do I need to set it up?
  • Set up Linkrunner for my app. Find it on the Play Store and create the project.
  • Give me my SDK token and the install steps for React Native.
  • How many installs did each campaign drive in the last 7 days?
  • Which campaigns bring users who reach onboarding?
  • Check that my branded link domain is set up correctly.
Before you start

Two requirements to create a project

A company email

Creating a project needs a company email address. Gmail accounts can sign up and be invited to projects, but cannot create one.

A live store listing

An app project needs a live App Store or Google Play listing. A website-only project needs the website URL.

Install the SDK with your coding agent
