What is deep linking and why does my app need it?
Deep linking routes users directly to a specific screen inside your mobile app, not just the homepage. Without it, users who click your ads, emails, or shared links land on generic screens and drop off. With deep linking, every click leads to the right content, which directly improves conversion rates, onboarding, and retention.
What is deferred deep linking?
Deferred deep linking handles users who don't have your app installed yet. When they click a link, they're routed to the app store first, and after they install and open the app, they're taken to the exact screen they were originally meant to see. The "context" of the original click survives the entire install process.
