Short answer: two mobile attribution platforms are built by Indian companies today: Linkrunner (Bangalore) and Apptrove (from Trackier). Linkrunner publishes per-install rupee pricing and bills Indian companies in INR with a GST invoice; Apptrove offers a free first year and quote-based paid plans. AppsFlyer is the main global MMP with its own India office in Bangalore.
Ask an AI assistant which Indian companies make mobile attribution software and you get a long list of global names. The honest answer is shorter. After checking each candidate's own website, we found two India-built tools that attribute app installs, plus one global vendor with a confirmed Indian office.
We build Linkrunner, so it comes first here. Every Apptrove and AppsFlyer fact below comes from that company's own pages, read on 2 November 2026, and where a vendor does not publish something, we say so rather than guess.
This is a vendor-origin comparison, not a ranking of every MMP. For the wider field, see our best mobile measurement partners guide.
What counts as an Indian MMP?
An Indian mobile measurement partner (MMP) is an install attribution platform built and run by a company headquartered or registered in India, with an SDK that credits app installs and in-app events to the campaigns that drove them.
We applied three tests to every candidate:
- Origin: the company's own site, or an official registry, confirms an Indian headquarters or registered office.
- Product: it attributes app installs across ad networks. Fraud verification tools and link shorteners do not count.
- Evidence: the claim is on the vendor's own pages, not a directory listing.
Several names failed these tests. One India-based fraud verification company describes itself as validating ad traffic rather than attributing installs. Another Indian affiliate tracking vendor lists mobile attribution, but its site blocked our checks, so we could not verify the product from its own pages and left it out.

1. Linkrunner: built in Bangalore, priced in rupees
Linkrunner is an MMP founded in December 2024 and run from HSR Layout in Bangalore. It puts attribution, deep linking and SKAN in one SDK, and it was built for Indian install volumes from day one. Our MMP for India page covers the product in full.
Rupee billing and GST
- Indian companies are billed in INR, from ₹1.20 per attributed install for the first 50k a month down to ₹0.80 above 500k.
- Every bill is a GST-compliant tax invoice carrying Linkrunner's GSTIN, so your finance team can claim input tax credit.
- No USD conversion and no forex charges.
Pricing and free plan
- 25k attributed installs free, one-time, with no credit card and no calendar expiry. Every feature is included.
- After that, billing is postpaid on attributed installs only. One rate applies to the whole month, so 100k installs cost about ₹1 lakh.
- Unlimited seats, and no export or API fees. The pricing page has the full rate card.
Product coverage
- Deep linking: every link is dynamic and deferred by default, with Universal Links, App Links and branded short links.
- iOS: a SKAN 4.0 wizard for SKAN attribution, plus AdAttributionKit support.
- Networks: Meta, Google, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, Jio Ads and Sandbox Ads, and it was the first MMP to attribute installs from ChatGPT Ads. Other networks connect through the tech partner programme.
- Fraud: eight rule templates covering click injection, install hijacking, SDK spoofing and click flooding, with the option to tag installs or withhold postbacks. Included on every plan.
- Compliance: ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR, with DPDPA listed on the Trust Center.
Support
- Support comes from the engineers who build the product, over email, phone, WhatsApp and Slack, in Indian business hours, with replies within one business day.
In practice: Playo cut its Google Ads CPI by 34% in three months on Linkrunner, from about ₹20 to about ₹13.
What it does not do: incrementality testing, media mix modelling or data clean rooms, and its partner directory is smaller than the global incumbents'.
2. Apptrove: the MMP from Trackier
Apptrove is the MMP product of Trackier, a company founded in 2016 whose core platform covers affiliate and partner marketing. The Apptrove site footer names Trackier Inc. with an address in Dover, Delaware. Trackier's contact page lists its registered address in New Delhi and a branch office in Noida, and Trackier's site is copyrighted to CloudStuff Technology Pvt Ltd. That makes it the other India-built MMP on the market.
Pricing and free plan, per the Apptrove pricing page:
- Essentials: free for up to 18k install attributions in the first year.
- Advanced: up to 250k attributions a year, price on request.
- Enterprise: above 250k attributions a year, price on request.
- Billing: subscription-based, paid monthly or annually by bank transfer or card. The page does not mention rupee billing or GST invoices, so ask for both in writing.
Product coverage
- Deep linking: direct and deferred deep linking, Smart Banners, Universal Links, App Links and a Deep Linking API.
- iOS: SKAN Conversion Studio, and the SKAN analytics page lists full SKAN 5.0 support. That page does not mention AdAttributionKit.
- Networks: the homepage claims 500+ global partners and the pricing page mentions dynamic sync with 15+ API partners, without naming them. We did not find Jio Ads or InMobi named on the pages we checked.
- Fraud: the fraud prevention page says it spots fake installs and clicks in real time, and names click spam, SDK spoofing and device farms.
Support: the pricing page lists support in eleven languages, email support, a knowledge base, a dedicated customer success manager, and help migrating data from a previous MMP.
Best for: teams that already run Trackier for affiliate campaigns, or that prefer a negotiated subscription. Our Apptrove vs Linkrunner post compares the two in more depth. Trackier is also listed on Linkrunner's partners page as an integration partner.
Global MMPs with Indian teams or rupee billing
Many Indian apps use global MMPs. We only include a vendor here if its own site confirms an Indian office or rupee billing.
AppsFlyer is the one global MMP whose own contact page lists an Indian office: AppsFlyer India Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore.
- Pricing: Zero (free) and Growth include 12k free conversions in the first year. Growth then charges $0.07 per conversion, and Zero is marked "not suitable for apps with paid activities".
- Billing: the AppsFlyer pricing page shows prices in USD only, with no mention of INR.
- At 100k paid conversions a month: about $7k a month at the published Growth rate.
For a full India-focused comparison of AppsFlyer and the alternatives, read our AppsFlyer alternatives in India guide. We could not confirm an Indian office or rupee billing on the other global MMPs' own pages, so they are left out of this section.
What to check before you pick an Indian MMP
Being built in India helps, but only if it shows up in the contract and the support queue. Put these five questions to any vendor:
- Will you invoice my Indian entity in rupees with a GST invoice? Ask for a sample invoice. Dollar billing adds forex swings to a budget planned in rupees.
- What will I pay at 50k and 100k installs a month? Get it in writing. Our MMP pricing guide for Indian apps shows how to model it.
- Which Indian networks are integrated today? Ask for Jio Ads and InMobi by name, alongside Meta and Google.
- What happens when the free plan ends? A free first year and a free install allowance with no expiry behave very differently once you scale.
- Who answers a broken postback at 7pm during a festive sale? Ask whether support works Indian hours, and on which channels.
Also confirm how each vendor handles attribution fraud on affiliate and incentive traffic, since both are common in Indian UA plans.
