Short answer: for an agency running attribution across many client apps in 2026, Linkrunner is the most practical default: each client owns its own project and bill, the agency joins through its own workspace with access the client switches on screen by screen, seats are unlimited, and pricing is $0.012 down to $0.007 per attributed install. AppsFlyer is the pick when a client already runs Enterprise and needs features such as agency fee cost calculation, and Airbridge suits agencies that want a multi-app dashboard, with agency management on its Growth plan.
The agency-MMP relationship has flipped. Clients now expect to own the MMP contract and the data, with the agency operating inside their account, a shift we covered in why performance agencies are moving to client-owned MMPs. That changes what an agency should look for: not the tool the agency likes best, but the one it can recommend to every client, at every budget, and still run efficiently.
We build Linkrunner, so it sits first on this list. Every competitor figure below comes from the vendor's own pricing or help pages, checked on 29 October 2026.
What should an agency look for in an MMP?
A mobile measurement partner for agency work has to pass two tests: does the client stay in control, and can the agency run ten or twenty of them without drowning in logins and reports.
- Client-owned accounts. The client signs the contract, holds admin rights and keeps the history if the agency leaves.
- Granular agency permissions. The client should decide which screens, actions and data the agency sees, and be able to limit it to the agency's own campaigns or networks.
- Multi-app access. One agency login that reaches every client app, without mixing their data.
- Cost structure that fits every client budget. Some clients need enterprise features; many smaller ones need an affordable option that still measures properly.
- Integration with the client's stack. Ad networks, analytics tools such as Mixpanel or CleverTap, and the client's warehouse.
- Support quality. The agency usually sits between the client and the MMP's support team, so slow or offshore-hours support lands on the agency.
- Open data export and API access. Custom reporting needs raw data without per-export fees or rate-limit surprises.
- White-label reporting. Useful, but rarely native in an MMP. Most agencies build branded reports in a BI tool from exported data.

1. Linkrunner: client-owned projects with switchable agency access
Linkrunner is an India-built MMP with attribution, deep linking and campaign analytics in one SDK.
- Client-owned by design: each client app is its own project. The account holder pays, and most agencies let the client own the billing account, so media and measurement stay on separate invoices.
- Agency workspace, not a borrowed seat: a project admin invites the agency, which gets its own workspace. A new engagement starts with everything off, and the client switches on campaigns (read or edit), overview, channels, integrations, data export, and revenue and spend.
- Data scoping: the client can limit the agency to campaigns it built, or to named networks only.
- Clean exits: ending an engagement removes the agency's access immediately; the campaigns it built and their history stay with the client's project.
- Cost: unlimited seats for agency and client teams, no export or API fees, no annual contracts. A referral programme pays agencies a recurring commission on referred customers' spend (rate not published).
- What it does not do: no white-label dashboards, no cross-client portfolio roll-up, and no incrementality testing, media mix modelling or data clean rooms.
Best for: agencies serving startups and growth-stage apps, especially India-heavy ones, that want one MMP they can recommend to every client. See Linkrunner for agencies.
2. AppsFlyer: deepest agency history, Enterprise features
- Agency accounts: agency dashboards closely mirror marketer dashboards. Since a March 2025 change, agency data is transparent to the advertiser by default, down to media source.
- Limits: custom dashboards are not available to agency or hybrid accounts, and agency fee cost calculation, which accounts for agency fees in cost reporting, is Enterprise only.
- Pricing: Zero and Growth include 12k free conversions within the first 12 months; Zero is marked not suitable for paid activity; Growth is $0.07 per conversion.
Best for: agencies whose clients already run AppsFlyer Enterprise and want agency fees inside their cost data.
3. Branch: mature agency permissions, deep linking first
- Agency access: clients add agencies under Account Settings, set access levels, and filter to agency-tagged data. Exporting needs both Sensitive Data and Export permissions.
- Pricing: Basics, Essentials and Enterprise with no published prices; Basics is limited to 3 ad partners, 3 webhooks and 3 postbacks.
Best for: agencies whose clients care most about deep linking and web-to-app journeys.
4. Airbridge: multi-app dashboard, agency management on Growth
- Multi-app: a multi-app dashboard on both Core and Growth.
- Agency management: Growth only. The agency role sees data from links created within its agency.
- Pricing: no free plan. Core is $40 or more a month (500k data points, then $0.0001 each) but attributes Google, Meta, Apple Ads and TikTok only. Growth is custom, based on MAU or installs.
Best for: agencies with several smaller clients on the big four ad platforms.
5. Adjust: role-based access without an agency product
- Access: per-app Custom Editor and Custom Reader roles with link-level and partner-level restrictions; agency users on non-SSO domains can log in directly.
- Pricing: free Base plan up to 1.5k monthly conversions for 12 months; Core and Enterprise are quote-only.
Best for: agencies supporting clients already on Adjust contracts.
6. Singular: agency accounts, by invitation
- Agency Account: a unique Agency ID, with the advertiser granting view or edit rights by area. Singular says it is currently available only for selected agencies.
- Pricing: Free covers 15k paid conversions; Growth is $0.05 per conversion.
Best for: agencies already approved for Singular's agency programme.
Kochava has no agency plan, only "collaborative support for advertising agencies" on its pricing page, and we found no agency features documented for Tenjin.
What does the MMP cost for each client?
Under the client-owned model, each client pays its own bill, so the useful number is the cost for one typical client. Take a client buying 30k installs a month, at published list rates:
- Linkrunner: 30k at $0.010 is about $300 a month, after the 25k free installs are used.
- Singular Growth: about $1.5k a month, after the free conversions.
- AppsFlyer Growth: about $2.1k a month, after the 12k welcome conversions.
- Adjust, Branch and Airbridge Growth: quote-only.
Across a 10-client book of that size, the gap is roughly $3k against $15k to $21k a month in measurement cost borne by your clients. Agencies that recommend the cheaper stack free budget for media, which is where the agency's results show. AppsFlyer and Singular count conversions, which can include re-engagements, while Linkrunner bills attributed installs only. Common MMP set-up mistakes agencies make
- SDK gaps. An incomplete integration on one platform or app version creates blind spots that look like channel underperformance. Test every client build.
- Default attribution windows. A 7-day window suits a game; a lending app's decisive event can land weeks later, as our best MMP for fintech apps guide explains. Set windows per client.
- Fraud left off. Cheap installs attract click flooding. Confirm fraud protection is on every plan, not an add-on.
- Last-click only. Last-click undervalues upper-funnel channels. At minimum, read assisted paths before cutting a channel.
- Inconsistent event names. "purchase_complete" at one client and "first_purchase" at another make cross-client benchmarks meaningless. Keep a standard taxonomy.
How to report to clients from an MMP
- Monthly: an executive summary on revenue impact and goals for leadership, and campaign-level ROAS, cost per install and cohort retention for the marketing team.
- Quarterly: a business review on long-term trends, channel mix and next quarter's tests.
- Live: give the client the same dashboard you use, so no one argues about whose numbers are right.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best MMP for agencies managing many client apps in 2026?
For agencies serving startups and growth-stage apps, Linkrunner is the most practical default: client-owned projects, a separate agency workspace with switchable access, unlimited seats and $0.012 down to $0.007 per attributed install. AppsFlyer suits clients already on Enterprise.
Should the agency or the client own the MMP account?
The client. Client ownership keeps the data and history with the client if the agency changes, separates the measurement bill from the agency retainer, and gives the client's finance team direct access to the numbers.
Which MMPs offer white-label reporting for agencies?
None of the six MMPs reviewed here documents native white-label dashboards. Most agencies export data through the MMP's API or CSV exports into a BI tool and brand their reports there.
Can a client limit what its agency sees in the MMP?
Yes, on most platforms. Linkrunner lets the client switch each screen and action on or off and limit the agency to its own campaigns or named networks; Branch, Adjust and Singular offer access levels or roles.
Does AppsFlyer have an agency plan?
AppsFlyer supports agency accounts, and since March 2025 agency data is transparent to the advertiser by default. Agency fee cost calculation is Enterprise only, and custom dashboards are not available to agency accounts.
How much does an MMP cost per client for an agency?
At 30k paid installs a month, published rates work out to about $300 for Linkrunner, about $1.5k for Singular Growth and about $2.1k for AppsFlyer Growth. Adjust, Branch and Airbridge Growth are quote-only.
